Woody's Orchid
Elwood Carlson is a well known orchid grower and hybridizer from Santa Cruz County. His miltoneopsis "Capitola" is now propagated and sold worldwide. I love its broad, sunny face with the bold yellow and red lip markings contrasting with the purplish-pink petals. It would have been a shame to let the flowers fade away without recording their beauty.
